Enabling mip shaders in Maya


Use following MEL-Script command in Script Editor and restart Maya.

optionVar -intValue MIP_SHD_EXPOSE 1;

It’s working with Maya 2008+.

  • mip_card_opacity
  • mip_fgshooter
  • mip_motionblur

  • mip_motion_vector
  • mip_binaryproxy
