Autodesk Maya 2011 – Qt style switch
Qt in Maya 2011 by Nokia, supports different UI styles, here are some screenshots
from Windows XP x64. You can switch styles with argument “style” when starting maya.
“C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Maya2011\bin\maya.exe” -style [ plastique | cleanlooks | motif | cde ]

And for mac (or OSX), what is the step to change color of maya 2011

On osx go to terminal type in :
/Applications/Autodesk/maya2011/Maya.app/Contents/MacOS/maya -style
then add a space and your style type: plastique, cde, monolith, windows, macintosh, motif or cleanlooks. Hit return and you will open a copy of maya with the new style (FYI the terminal is also the way to get multiple copies of an app to run simultaneously)
